In her many years of working with children, Jacqueline Dürmüller learned that the soul finds the medium of art and sand play therapy a deeply meaningful canvas upon which to tell its story of life, struggles and redemption. In art, and Sand Play therapy children create pictures which evolve into entire stories capturing the portrait of the child’s life.
Healing begins the moment the soul is encouraged to tell its story. So too we come to see how the soul is affected by the traumas in the child’s life. Everyone needs to be loved and adored, and in its absence, if we are sensitive enough, we will hear the soul weep.
Through these images emerging from a domain transcending space and time, we find an intimation of what will heal the child’s pain, and restore their relationship to the Psyche. It is Jacqueline’s gift to have found a way to the child’s heart, to their pain and perhaps most importantly, to what will restore their passions and way to a better life.
In time she heard the quiet whispers of the soul expressing its appreciation for restoring to the child this bridge to their authentic life. Please join us for this unique program from The Assisi Institute ongoing seminars on Child Analysis.
