This seminar investigates the many ways the patients personal and archetypal dynamics are manifested/incarnated within the patient-therapist interactional field. In distinction to the notion of transference where the patient imagines that therapist is behaving in such a such a way, we now find that through the processes of entrainment (trascinamento) that these dynamics are in fact re-enacted and re-experienced through the ways the therapist creates the conditions of treatment. We will also take an in-depth look at the unconscious-symbolic representation of trauma as evidenced in those replication dynamics in the patients life and embedded in their unconscious, derivative communication. One other aspect of this training is to look at clients dreams as an objective commentary on the therapeutic process.
