Program Structure (Annual Cycle)
- Level I (Foundation): Weekly 90-minute Thursday classes for four months, plus two Saturday intensives (3 hours each). Focus: how archetypal/field dynamics shape the therapeutic frame, early-phase treatment, and unconscious communication; includes applications to dreamwork and child treatment.
- Level II (Advanced): Weekly 90-minute Thursday classes for four months, plus two Saturday intensives; adds live supervision and advanced application. Emphasis on transference/counter-transference, fields, replicative dynamics, entrainment, defensive mobilization, interpretation, and dreams as objective commentary on treatment.
Learning Outcomes:
- Identify archetypal patterns as they constellate within the therapeutic relationship and frame.
- Work deliberately with unconscious communication (including first- and second-order derivatives) and the “conditions of treatment.”
- Use dreams as objective commentary on process and timing of interventions.
- Recognize and work with defensive mobilization and replicative dynamics to reduce reenactment.
- Apply an archetypal/field perspective with adults and, where relevant, children; Level II extends this through supervised case material.
