In my practice I work with the patterns that shape our bodies, movements and behaviors within the greater force fields of life, in the first place the gravitational field of Earth in the physical realm leading to the archetypal fields in the realms of psyche. In my practice Archetypal Pattern Analysis is intertwined with the Duggan/French Approach to Somatic Pattern Recognition. DFA approaches the work with the whole person from three angles:
-a wave-like hands-on intervention, -education of movement and body awareness, and -the creation of a safe space where the meaning associated to sensory experience can be explored and examined as to its continued validity in present life, interrupted emotional processes can be completed and inner balance restored after traumatic experiences.
Archetypal fields offer an external frame of reference to facilitate orientation in all areas of life, exactly like the gravitational field of Earth does for the body. It thus becomes possible to recognize patterns that are in conflict with the greater force fields of life and reorient towards an alignment that makes it possible to find support in these fields.

Deciding to come to therapy is a momentous decision and takes courage. My passion is for individual psychotherapy with adults. People come to work with me on depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse. Sometimes they have thoughts of suicide or have been hurting themselves. I have expertise in each of these problems. It is an honor to be invited to accompany my patients for part of their journey, and I am endlessly delighted by my patients’ willingness to share their stories with me. I offer a range of evidence-based treatments, from brief therapy for specific issues to longer-term psychotherapy for patients seeking insight and clarity into identity and interpersonal relationships. I meet with individuals once a week for psychotherapy.
